Pinterest advertisers can reach more than 200 million people, according to Hootsuite’s Digital 2021 Global Overview Report. The site allows users to “pin” inspirational and informative images and videos to “boards” that are then viewed directly to an audience.
The marketing goal is to attract attention. Pinterest users can create new boards that can focus on a particular market, region or area an agent serves. Agents can then pin things like photos of local events and points of interest to that board – and all posted photos and videos should link back to the agent’s website to capture as many visitors as possible.
Sharing for-sale properties gives agents a chance to get more eyes on their active listings, and it provides an opportunity to generate more leads.
In addition to a website link, agents should add a 100- to 200-word description for each listing picture. In addition to listing photos, agents can share tips on interior design, ranging from recipes to DIY projects. In fact, an entire board should be dedicated to home decorating and interior design.
